Computer Clubs works on coding

The Boys and Girls Computer Club is meeting every Monday after school in room A401 to learn and practice skills associated with programing, coding, app development, and computing in general.

“We’ve started to work with a program called Scratch that helps us understand how coding works,” junior club member Samantha Spott said. “We will be making art using coding in the future as well.”

Spott decided to join the club after teaching herself HTML coding for website layouts.

“The female section of the group is really small. We all do not talk much because we are all shy, but I can see us becoming close friends in the future by getting to know each other over time,” Spott said. “So if anyone is shy but wants to join the club, then by all means they should come join the fun.”
