A moment with freshman Rachel Woods

Q: What do you want to do with your life?

A: I kind of want to be in the FBI. I’m really interested in crime; that sounds morbid, but I do like it. I watch all the shows with detective-y stuff, you know.

Q: Do you know someone in the FBI?

A: My uncle is a detective in Sheridan County.

Q: So what do you think you’ll do for college?

A: I’m looking at Oklahoma State. I would major in forensics. It’s a lot of science and I like science a lot, so it’s a good fit for me.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

A: Probably married, hopefully. Probably living somewhere warmer than Indiana. I just want to do cool things. I’d like to spread the word of God and go to foreign countries. I’ve never been out of the country before, so that’s why I want to go.

Q: Would you rather go to Europe or visit Africa?

A: Going to a developed country is cool but also seeing places that don’t have as much would be good, too. I definitely want to do some mission work.

Q: Finally, what’s the most interesting thing about you?

A: I think it’s that I’m okay with being alone. I’m pretty independent; I don’t need to have plans all the time. Just because I’m alone doesn’t mean I’m lonely, you know? So, I’m pretty good on my own.
