Royal in the Pros: Zak Irvin

After playing all four years at the University of Michigan, HSE alumni, Zak Irvin went undrafted in 2017 but was quickly picked up and sent down to the NBA’s G-League to further his development. In his last year at Michigan, Irvin averaged 13 points per game and shot 45% from the field. Irvin currently plays for the Westchester Knicks, which is the farm team for the New York Knicks. Irvin is averaging 9.3 points per game while shooting over 50% in both field goals and three-pointers. This season Irvin is averaging over 28 minutes a game in the first 11 games of the season. Irvin is looking for a strong 2019-2020 season that will help him find a spot on an NBA roster.
