As HSE boys tennis comes up on the sectional draw tonight, I take a look at the season so far. The Royals went 11-1 only losing t0 a very good Carmel team. I talked to Paul Schneider the number two singles. I asked him how he thought the season went, he said ” It went pretty good we finished third in the state before sectionals.”

Paul had a record of 18-3 (including tournaments). Sectionals for the boys starts on Wednesday and they are focused and ready to go out and play hard. I talked to Andrew Spirrison who played one doubles and asked how his season went individually. He said “Dewitt and I played very well this season as we went 17-1 only losing to Carmel. We think we can beat Carmel. We are looking to make a very good run in not only team state, but also in individual state.”

Rohan Golla the one singles went 13-7 this season he had a few very tough matchups but ended with a winning record. HSE did what they wanted to this season. They won Mudsock which was very important to Webber and the team.  HSE won 4-1 in Mudsock only losing the two doubles match. It was very exciting to watch Rohan win the one singles match against Reese Knoderer.  Webber is very excited for the state run he thinks his team can make. They have been working all season and have been waiting for the state tournament to start. Tonight is the night the sectional draw comes out, the Royals will be waiting in anticipation to see who the play
