Davis Brown

In just about 3 months, the Boys Royals soccer team will be ready for their 2022 season. They are looking to have another competitive season within their conference and make it out of their sectional for the first time since 2018. The leader of this team will be senior Oscar Tittle. Today, I sat down with Oscar and asked him some questions about himself and the upcoming season. Here are his responses:

Q: What is your best high school soccer memory?

A: Beating Noblesville in double overtime to go to the sectional final.

Q: How are you, along with the team preparing for this upcoming season?

A: Me along with the rest of the team have been working in the weight room and at our club teams to improve as much as possible for this upcoming season.

Q: What are some personal goals you have set for yourself?

A: Some personal goals I set for myself is to win a state cup with my club team and go on to win state on the high school team as well.

Q: Who in the HSE soccer program has had the biggest impact on you? Why?

A: A current senior, Yusuf Awad has had the biggest impact on me. His passion of winning and his work ethic have inspired me to become the player I am today.

Q: If you could give one piece of advice to an incoming freshman player, what would you tell them?

A: I would say to enjoy competing and getting the chance to play every day.
