Unforgettable Quarterback

Unforgettable+Quarterback

This past Monday on March 7th Peyton Manning officially announced his retirement in the NFL. After weeks of rumors and talk it was finally confirmed that Super Bowl 50 was Manning’s last game in the NFL.

Manning, a five time MVP star quarterback, started his NFL career as an Indianapolis Colt. As a rookie, he struggled, like most would expect, but this soon turned around making Manning an unforgettable quarterback. Along with beating the New England Patriots, Manning won a super bowl with the Colts in 2007. He ended his football career winning the Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos making him a two-time Super Bowl champ. He set a record of having 50,000 running yards and 4,000 pass completions in his career.

Manning not only inspires people on the field but also off the field. He partners with St. Vincent hospital and has a children’s hospital named after him. Along with this partnership, he also is in many commercials and has been featured on “Saturday Night Live”. Manning is a legendary quarterback that broke 21 major NFL records. Although Manning will be missed dearly, we have not seen the end of him. With his love for football, he is sure to continue bringing his talents and expertise to the game in some capacity.
