Bomb Threat Cleared: Wed. Sept. 20, 2017

Today around 11 a.m. HSE schools went on lockdown due to a bomb threat. Police were contacted immediately and safety procedures were implemented. Students at Fishers High School and Hamilton Southeastern High School were evacuated. Both schools were also searched and cleared by local law enforcement.
Students have since returned to class and schools are on normal schedules. The entire district had security in place during the event.
The following statement was made from HSE’s Central Office: “We are proud of the way our students and staff responded during this time and appreciate our local law enforcement’s prompt response in keeping our schools safe.”
