Caroline Shumaker has been a key athlete to Royal community. Shumaker has been on the cross country team, and also the track team. In track Caroline would be in events that involved sprints, distance, and even hurdles.  Shumaker would have a lot of her time taken up due to her athletics, on top of running a lot of the Habitat for Humanity club as well.

If somebody were to be asked what kind of person she is, most, if not all, would say Shumaker is one of the nicest people they have ever met. She spends a lot of her time maintaining all aspects of her life ranging from school, sports, clubs, and friends/ family. Shumaker will not be continuing her athletic career in college but she plans to attend IU in the fall.  

Shumaker recently worked on a project with Habitat for Humanity, the project goal was to build a house for a family in need. She takes her role in the club very seriously and it’s proof that Shumaker has the characteristics of a kind, caring, and compassionate person.
