Meet HSE Junior Jerald Bush
Q: What are your personal plans for baseball season this spring?
A: My personal plan is to work hard everyday so I can play varsity and help the team out in any ways that I can.
Q: How long have you played baseball and how did you first get into it?
A: I’ve been playing baseball for almost 13 years now. My uncle started me out by throwing little wiffle balls and then after that I started playing tee ball, little leagues, and now all the way up to high school.
Q: If someone was considering playing baseball, what would you tell them?
A: If somebody was considering playing, I would tell them to work hard for it because it will come easy for you. We play in a competitive conference with a lot of great teams so if you put the work in, then great things will come for you.
Q: What are your goals for the team this year?
A: This year our goal is not focused on winning state again, we’re more focused on recreating the culture that we had last year. That’s why our motto is #WePeat. The brotherhood and trust that we have for each other is like no other in my opinion.
Q: Do you plan on playing baseball in college?
A: Yea, I hope that I get to play at the next level. I plan on playing somewhere down south where it’s ice and warm.
