The tryouts for the 2020 girls softball season begins soon! The dates are as follows: March 9-11th from 3:15-5:30 PM.

What happens during tryouts?

During tryouts, you will hit off of a pitching machine and do routine ground balls and pop flies. Outfield, infield and pitchers and catchers will split up for different drills depending on the days. Specific details on what each day will consist of will be explained at weights closer to the tryout date.

Where will tryouts be?

Tryouts will either be inside in the Auxiliary Gym or outside on the varsity softball fields with weather permitting.

What are some key reminders for tryouts?

Some key reminders for tryouts are to bring indoor and outdoor practice clothes, cleats, tennis shoes/turf shoes. Be prepared to go outside- pack warm clothes if needed!

Also, if you need somewhere to put your softball bag during the day, take your bag to Mrs. Kitchen’s room(located in F129) or the main office.
