Today I had the chance to sit down and talk with Senior right guard Bryce Burke and to ask him a few questions, here is what he had to say.

Q: What have you thought of the football season so far?

A: I think its gone pretty well, we’ve preformed pretty well compared to last season and we’ve just kept improving throughout the year.

Q: Do you plan on playing football in college?

A: Yes I’m still not sure where I want to play but I do know that I want to play in college.

Q: Do you think HSE will win the sectional game against Fishers?

A: I think we will, we beat them in the mudsock game but in years past its been the winner in the regular season that loses in the playoffs but this year feels different.

Q: What do you think has changed from last year to this year?

A: I believe that a lot has changed but we play at a higher tempo with more intensity and aggression.

Q: How long have you been playing?

A: I’ve played since 3rd grade.

Q: What is it like playing with type one diabetes?

A: Its definitely a bit different, during games its fine but during practices you have to be careful to not let it get out of hand and you have to watch what your eating during the day.

Q: Who is your favorite athlete?

A: I would have to say Clay Matthews I’ve watched him ever since I was a kid and he’s such an inspiration for me.

Q: What is your favorite sports moment?

A: My favorite sports moment is when my CYO team won the state championship in 4th grade.
