SSN: Girls Lacrosse Q&A, Greyson Johnson and Addi Stindle

The Varsity Lady Royals Lacrosse Team has their first match-up vs. Guerin Catholic tonight at 7:30 PM at home.

Q: What is your name and what grade are you in?

Greyson: “Greyson Johnson, Junior.”

Addi: “Addi Stindle, grade 11.”

 

Q: How long have you played lacrosse?

Greyson: “8 years.”

Addi: “2 and a half years.”

 

Q: Why did you start playing lacrosse?

Greyson: “My brother had been playing and I was interested in trying the sport.”

Addi: “Coach Wagoner recruited a bunch of soccer players during my freshman year, and I figured I would check it out!”

Q: What are you most excited for this season?

Greyson: “Mostly game days. I love getting ready with the team and all of the pregame excitement we have before playing.”

Addi: “Playing a new position and spending time with the team again!”

 

Q: What’s your hype song before a game (if you have one)?

Greyson: “Fireball by Pitbull.”

Addi: “Lucky you by Eminem.”

 

Q: What do you like about the varsity team?

Greyson: “I like how encouraging the team is and how close we have gotten in the past few weeks. We have really come together as a family and all support each other.”

Addi: “Seniority isn’t a thing on our team. We treat each other as equals, all working towards a common goal.”

 

Q: How do you feel about your [first game tonight]?

Greyson: “I am super hyped and ready to start off the season with a win!”

Addi: “I’m excited but a little nervous. Our first game last year didn’t go too well, and I know many of us are hoping that history doesn’t repeat itself. I am also hoping it isn’t too cold!”
