Today I will be going over the wrap-up of the NFL draft, that occurred this past Saturday. I will be discussing the teams that made significant changes, and the teams that made poor choices in the draft. Let’s start off with the winners, the New York jets general manager Joe Douglas crushed this draft landing three superstars. The top stars the Jets landed included Sauce Gardner, Garret Wilson, and Jermaine Johnson. These players will help quarterback Zach Wilson and the Jets compete strong next year. The next winner is the Eagles, they came into this draft as a mediocre team and are leaving as a contender. They added Jordan Davis a monster on the defensive line, and Cameron Jurgens one of the best centers in the draft. In addition, they also landed Nakobe Dean a projected top 10 pick before injury, and they got him at pick 83. With all those huge upgrades they also went out and traded for Superstar wide receiver AJ Brown. The first loser in the draft is the New England Patriots they started off their draft selecting Cole Strange an offensive lineman who was projected a 3rd or 4th round pick. Then they went out and selected Tyquan Thornton in the 2nd round who was projected a 5th or later round pick. It was not who they picked but when they selected to pick these players. That wraps-up the winners and losers of the NFL draft. We’ll see how these players contribute on the field next season.
