Meet the HSE Varsity Wrestling Team

106: Mateos Benson – Matt has been wrestling for four years now and it is his first year on varsity this year. He is a sophomore this year.

113: Kyler Sapp – Kyler is one of the only freshmen in the lineup this year as he embarks on his first varsity season.

120: Jake Simone- Jake has been wrestling for 12 years and is in his senior year. He plans to add on to his 8thplace finish last year at state.

126: Sam Crousore- Sam Crousore has been wrestling for 12 years and he is embarking on his senior year. He plans to add onto his semi-state finish last year.

132: Gaige Lloyd – Gaige is a sophomore coming off of a very successful freshman year, as he moved up a weight class.
138: Jake Lemieux – Jake is looking to bounce back this season as a junior. He made it to semi-state as a freshman.

145: Reece Luhmann – Reece is off to a solid start as he plans to break through to state in his senior season. He was in the ticket round last year.

152: Cam Roberts – Cam is embarking on his 6th season as a senior. He has been working all off season for his final season of high school.

160: Ryan Cast – Ryan is a returning starter as a sophomore. He is down a weight class from last year and expects to do very well this season. .

170: Ronan Hiner – Ronan is a returning senior who hopes to make the jump to state this year. He is coming off an injury and is ready to shine. He has been wrestling for 12 years.

182: Max Broom – Max is a returning starter from last year as he remains in the same weight class as last year.

195: Jacob Schneider – This is Jacobs first time having a varsity spot as just a sophomore. He is wrestling up 3 weight classes.

220: Devin Dudley – Devin is a junior that is embarking on his first full varsity campaign. He has been wrestling for 5 years.

HWT: Andrew Irick – Andrew has been wrestling for 12 years and is hoping to expand on his previous 4th place finish last year at state.
