Q&A With Robotics Member Taylor Sinicropi
Q: What made you want to join robotics?
A: I was on the engineering track and I thought it would be a good
way to learn more about VEX parts and the programming language that we use for it.
Q: What is the end goal with the robot that you are building?
A: Our end goal is to enter it into the Starstruck competitions
for VEX and hopefully make it well enough to be successful in those
competitions and overall just get better with the VEX products.
Q: What skills do you utilize as a member of this club?
A: We utilize programming skills as well as team building skills by working
together to design and build our prototype and test our robot. We use
online CAD [computer-aided design] programs as well as using
physical pieces to design our robot.
Q: What is the most challenging aspect of this club?
A: The hardest part is working to time constraint. Working to finish
our robot with time to get into our competitions with everything completed.
