Protests in South Korea

Following the recent election results, many have set out to the streets to protest and express their angst and disapproval of our president-elect, Donald Trump. While the protests have been relatively peaceful, there have been reports of injuries. Indianapolis held it’s “Anti-Trump” protest on Saturday, November 12. Attendance was about 4000 and involved people of all genders and colors. While this may sound like big news for the United States, compare that to the recent protest that have been occurring in Seoul, South Korea.

South Korea’s president, Park Geun-hye, has been under heavy fire from residents of the country. As many as half a million people funneled into the downtown streets of Seoul. Geun-hye’s approval rating is at a minuscule 5%, which is the lowest its ever been in the history of South Korea’s presidents.
