Q: What are some things you’re doing to stay involved with your sport even though we can’t play?

A: To stay involved in lacrosse, I go on runs everyday or try to find another way to be active. I try to do wall ball everyday, or at least touch my stick in some way. I also like to watch film on our previous games to see what I can work on.

Q: How does the Coronavirus effect you and your sport specifically?

A: For lacrosse, the season is suspended until at least May 1st. We can’t have any organized practices until then. After we get back, playoffs are supposed to start in mid may.

Q: What’re your feelings towards the situation at hand?

A: I feel that it’s gotten out of control. I think some of the things we are doing would benefit everyone if people would listen and participate in not meeting up with friends and actually listen to the social distancing recommendation.

Q: What advice could you give to other athletes experiencing the same thing?

A: I would tell everyone to hope for the best and really try to stay home. Don’t let the virus take away your sport, you can still go outside and practice alone or with a family member. Lastly, try to stay positive!
