The girls’ varsity basketball team secured the win last night over the Noblesville Millers. With the final score being 71-69, junior Maya Makalusky was the leading scorer for the game totaling 30 points. The rivalry between the Royals and Millers led to the end of the game becoming extremely chippy. The aggressiveness on the court was exciting and had the crowd on the edge of their seats. Each team had a low percentage of accuracy from the 3. As the game came to an end, they were neck and neck in score. With many girls in foul trouble, including our lead scorer Makalusky, the girls had to ensure their defense was effective without fouling out.  The atmosphere in the gym was unmatchable.
