Force to Be Reckoned With

The Hamilton Southeastern Boys Lacrosse program has made its name for themselves the past 5 years and continues to grow. As the 2024 season begins, the team is faced with all sorts of depth. There are many athletes for the team, but a select few have been making a name for themself.   

Sophomore David Gould started playing high school lacrosse his freshman year, earning himself a spot on the varsity team. Over summer Gould plays for true lacrosse, project Midwest and mad dog national black. Gould was chosen to be an Indiana all star player for the summer of 2024.  

Senior John Pauls has played lacrosse for many years and not only for HSE, but true lacrosse with Gould. As of now pauls has had eleven goals and five assists at the beginning of the season. After joining HSE lacrosse 2 years ago he is making himself a key contributor for the royals.  

Sophomore Kyle Jenkins, this is his first year on varsity and he’s a starter for offense. He worked hard and proved to the coaches what he’s capable of. Kyle’s status is sixteen goals and four assists, impressive.

Senior Trey Boysen has been playing for a long time and has played for the Royals from his Freshman year to Senior year. Boysen worked hard to earn his spot-on varsity and never gave up without a fight.   

Junior Max Kemp won player of the game against Guerin Catholic. His whole team hyped him up after the game and max was excited about this accomplishment.  Kemp plans to continue showing himself on the field his final two years in hopes of being a part of something great. 

 These guys have worked hard in the offseason and are ready to prove why HSE boys Lacrosse is a name to be reckoned with. They plan to help the team to another state title and they’re are some players to watch out for.
