The view of the team is a deep sense of making memories and friendship. “We’re not just teammates, we’re like a family,”. The Hamilton Southeastern lady royal’s tennis team led by Coach Gernert is ready to take on the 2024 season! As the season unfolds, each girl is ready to become stronger mentally and physically and take on any challenges that get in their way. They are a testament to the power of teamwork, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence both on and off the court. Their journey begins long before the first serve is ever made. The girls have had lots of practice and training before the season started. Over the summer, the girls attended a tennis camp to develop stronger skills and continue practicing the sport they love.  

Last season our lady royals made it all the way to sectionals but fell to Fishers High School in the finals. They placed 1st at the Delta Invitational and 4th at the HCC Championships with 22 points! And won many other matches to Brownsberg, Lawrence North, Guerin Catholic, Franklin Central, and more.  

Over this season we hope to see some amazing matches with returning seniors, Peighton Baugh, Sarah Feltman, Sophia Hobbs, Sophia Hosei, Nicole Mathenge, Angeline Vieria, Kailee Wagner, Maya Wetzel, and Taylor Wolf. The first match is at home on March 26th at 5:30. Make sure to show up and show out to support your lady royals in another amazing season!
