A year after the release of the iPhone 7 Apple has released three new iPhones. The iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and the iPhone X. These new iPhones have new features such as face ID and a new screen display.

According to Independent, the iPhone X is supposed to be a lot more popular but it will also be more expensive. The iPhone X is expected to cost around $999 and releases Nov. 22. The iPhone 8 will cost around $700 and will release on Sept. 22.

The phones will also have improved cameras, that are now horizontal instead of vertical like the past generations of iPhones, and live photos.

“I am really excited about the new iPhones,” sophomore Maddy Eusey said. “I like the idea of the vertical cameras and the live photos.”

The iPhones will also have a glass display with stainless steel around it, much the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s, but they are expected to be much more durable along with being water and dust resistant.  The new phones are also said to have the most durable glass that has ever been used in a smartphone. Along with the glass display and a mirror on the back, there will be a new retina display that will be the best that has been seen according to Cnet.

“I am anxious to see if the new iPhone will be more water resistant than the iPhone 7,” sophomore Bayla Graham said. “I want to know if people will be able to go swimming with their phones.”

Apple is also releasing an update on the iPhone X where people are able to control emojis with their face. The display will also be different and it will be the best it had ever been. The new retina display is the best in the industry with the most accurate color display.

Apple has also decided to discontinue some of the older colors and add some new ones such as blush gold. It is similar to the rose gold color with minor differences.

The phones are supposed to be very popular, as most iPhones are, and should break records according to Mirror.
