Black History Month Feature: Mrs. Erika Collins

In honor of Black History Month, who is a person in current society you look to the most today that has broken a barrier? Why does their story have an impact on you?

Michelle Obama is the person in current society that I admire the most today. I look up to her because of her grace, intelligence, and confidence. Her story began long before she became the first African-American first lady. I am able to connect with her childhood and her own determination to be an accomplished woman without her husband’s influence.

Who is someone you feel should have a spotlight on them?
